Caring for Teachers.
Empowering Generations.
We provide holistic wellness for Kenya's public school educators
—because strong teachers build strong futures.
About Us
MwalimuCare Foundation is a legally registered non-profit dedicated to restoring, refocusing and reigniting the personal and professional well-being of Kenya's teachers.
The Problem
Teachers are the silent backbone of our nation's future —shaping young minds, inspiring curiosity and building the foundation for Kenya's future development. Yet, behind the smiles and encouragement they give students, many struggle in silence —facing burnout, financial strain, and limited mental health support. Stress, stigma, and poor access to care take a toll on their well-being and performance, influencing not just classrooms but also the trust communities place in education.

The Solution
MwalimuCare Foundation was born from a simple truth: "Teachers cannot pour from an empty cup. We cannot expect our educators to inspire excellence while they're drowning in personal crises." Founded by educationists, counsellors, life coaches and leadership trainers, we respond to the growing need for teacher well-being in today's dynamic educational landscape. We don't just address symptoms — we provide comprehensive, interconnected support that sees public school teachers as whole human beings, not just workers in a system.
